Brilliant video k 👍 This kind of fishing is the best way to get the youngsters interested. Sitting on the bank of a lake for days trying to catch carp can be hard going. It’s great to be shown how. Many thanks, Les 👍
Great video. Any chance of a full length in depth one on fishing the stick, covering everything from plumbing the depth to feeding. Cant find anything like that on TH-cam, commercials are very well catered for but not so much for naturals
You basically want to create a tunnel of loose feed in the river, scatter it about and you scatter the fish. Concentrate the feed to one spot, the fish move on to it. Little n often, every cast, you want the hookbait running through with that loose feed, sometimes held back a touch or running with the pace. Plumbing up? Easy, just guess the depth when you first cast in, if the float pulls under, keep taking 2 or 3 inch off till the float runs through without pulling under. Trot through and it doesn't pull under? Keep adding 2 or 3 inch till it does. You'll soon know the depth and any hollows, bumps over the entire swim.
Hi Kayleigh Not heard about the world Championships you went to couple of weeks ago. How did you get on? did you make any videos? would love to hear about it please.
