All you need to do is change the water every 3-5days until roots are at least 2 inches long. You may wash the roots and the container if there are algae growth

I can answer that for u in case he doesn't have time to. Yes you can do this with kalanchoe tomentosa. I've done it with my panda plant, my chocolate soldier, and cinnamon and snow white. All types of kalanchoe tomentosa. Many others too. I have over 300 succulents in my collection.

Did this to some of the leggy plants i beheaded. They sat out for a week or two b4 I put them in water. Day 3 in water the stems turned to a dark mushy mess. Why? They were healthy prior to the beheading. :(

My air propagations can be nice, green, and plump perfect for propagations and turn yellow like its overwatered despite having NO water, good air circulation,indirect sunlight,not dormant, ect. After investing so much into all the added products I needed im at a loss. Kinda funny feeling defeated by plants no bigger that a potato chip hahaaa but for realzz I need help :(

It's best if you will do this water therapy the natural way... For most Succulents this can work but i haven't tried sa orostachy since it's too small...although they do fine naman pag direct to soil nalang

How to change water, in water propagation? Should we also wash the roots or just transfer it directly into the glass with fresh water?
All you need to do is change the water every 3-5days until roots are at least 2 inches long. You may wash the roots and the container if there are algae growth

We need to airdry it first until the area dries, then we can safely place it in water

Make sure you air dried your Succulents for at least 5-7 days before submerging them in water... In that case, they won't rot

Roots seems to grow faster if it touches the water...as long as they are well callused then it is fine for the stem to touch the water

Did you immediately put them.in the water without air drying? If yes then that's the cause...

Something might be wrong along the process... 😨🤔 only Stems should be submerged, bright shaded area... Keep trying until you succeed..

If you think it isnt well air dried or didn't completely callus yet then you might as well remove it.from the water first, but i hope it isnt too late

As long as well callused naman si red tips then you can just continue waiting or you can simply put it sa soil na and it will root on its own
