    Appreciate your review. I tried out the same tractor from my local dealer last month. I have multi-power on my MF 165, so I could easily appreciate the new Dyna-2. I do find these newer tractors to be a bit bouncy on the road and tend to loose power o grades compared to my 2wd MF 383. Very nice tractors overall.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes the Dyna2 brings back similar technology to the Legendary MultiPower. One the Road test was the tires properly inflated? 4700 Series come standard with Trelleborg Radials and when shipped from the factory are overinflated compared to where they should be inflated for work use...Part of the Dealer PreDelivery Process. Also Tire size...taller tires can run faster road speeds but have less pulling power when you hit hills at road speed. We nroamlly order the 18.4R30 versus the 16.9R 34 smaller diameter pulls hill better and the wider width produces better traction and footprint.

    That temperature displayed in the middle line on the digital dash display at 12:54 is transmission temperature, not outside temperature.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      OOPS... I get to talking and sometimes mess up and you are correct the Temperature Display is the Transmission Temperature. I was thinking of some of the other premium models have outside temperature readings you can display. Sorry for the mess up.

      @@VahrenbergImplement I don't see how anyone could keep up with all the features that Massey Ferguson puts on their tractors like these. I'm still learning new things about my 4710 every time I use it. I love the Dyna 2 transmission. 99%of my time is spent pulling a batwing cutter and I never dreamed I would use that gear split so much. It's perfect for when the grass gets a little thicker and you start losing cut quality. Just hit the split and slow down then hit it again when you get past it.

      We try to know everything we can so we can help out customers get the most out of their purchase. There is lots to learn and lots of features for the Dollar with Massey Ferguson. Thanks for the Testimonial on the benefits of the Dyna2 that is the exact reason they added tis feature is for those doing tasks where transmission speed split would help them get more done in less time.

    Nice review... I will be getting another new tractor once all this foolishness with prices and demand get back to normal.. I may be getting that model

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Massey Ferguson hasn't adjusted prices all year actually many models are less that last year. Probably why inventory is low and demand high but it's great time to book a new tractor and lock in the great pricing before they do have to adjust...I'd guess we see some increases for 2022 Year Models.

    Great tractor, still in debate on 4707 or the 4710. But that’s has all the options I would get but I would add the creeper.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Both are amazing tractors we sell lots of both of those models. Depends on the tasks you have and Horsepower needs. If you need the additional HP or plans to grow and need more HP then the 4710 is the answer. If you don't need the HP then the 4707 is probably enough.

    On this tractor do you have to shift through the gears or can you put in 6th gear and just go

    Great review, glad to finally see the Dyna 2 in action. A couple of questions: why would you NOT want to have brake to Neutral, speedmatching and Softride turned on all the time? I notice in the rear there is now the ability to change height on both bottom links on rear PTO hitch. There used to only be one on the right side. Is the left side adjustment an option or is it standard now? Finally, any idea how slow you can go with the Dyna 2 in turtle mode as compared to a "true" creeper speed?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cost is one reason. In North America Massey Ferguson is Offering the 4700 with 12x12 Powershuttle as we have had or now the 24x24 Powershuttle with Dyna2 Powershift only the Dyna2 will have the added Brake to Neutral, Speed Matching features. You could adjust both 3 Point links on the prior models wasn't as easy but the left side was still adjustable had to take loose to lengthen.

    • @danielsnyder2288
      @danielsnyder2288 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@VahrenbergImplement Sorry, what I meant was if you have the brake to neutral ability on the tractor, already paid for it, why wouldn't you use it? Why is it a "choice" and not just set to permanently "On"

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are using brakes to turn would be one case for having Brake to Neutral disengaged or prefer not having it on. Massey Ferguson give you the choice and not limit how you drive your tractor.

    • @VahrenbergImplement

    U making me hungry for buying a tractor .
    I personally would prefer the taller tires, so it goes a little faster down the highway.
    Does it go 40 km/h ?
    Also would I want a heavy duty braked in the front with a pin so I can tow things or I get towed in case I get stuck.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They offer different tire sizes. These are 40kph/25 mph tractors unlike others in this class. Front Tow Bracket is Option. We did that in a video 4707 Customized Tractor Video.

    I looked at a new 4710 last week. WHEN did Massey-Ferguson go with the DPF on this model???

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  ปีที่แล้ว

      In North America Massey Ferguson has never used or had Diesel Particulate Filter. They use SCR Selective Catalyst Reduction with DEF Diesel Exhaust Fluid to Clean Emissions.

    • @bubbascoutdog
      @bubbascoutdog ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My dealer used the DPF wording. I guess he MEANT the system you’re talking about. Same difference? You have to change out the filters every so many years for $$$???

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is NO Filter change out with Massey Ferguson 4710. That is Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) that is expensive and requires REGEN or burning the filter out...don't have that system on Massey Ferguson 4700 Series.
