Dave Abbruzzese, Sean Kinney kill it on drums. Now we a left with really one singer from the last most influential period in music, EV. Wow how time flies and things change. We sure enjoyed the ride. Thx Chris for everything.
So surreal, so unreal that his last performance gave no hint to what will be known as one of the darkest days in Rock/Grunge history. RIP Chris Cornell. May you sing like an angel forever more... :(

Don't be fooled by his rock star good looks. Chris Cornell was a humble, unassuming, down to earth, charitible human being, regardless of the industry he chose to pursue. Who also invested his own time and money towards abused children. Not a dime a dozen, egotistical, cocky, heat packing, flavar of the month stage performer that the industry bombards us with today. But A True Musician, Singer, Songwriter, Band Leader & Performance Artist.
No joke but i got up around 4am getting things ready, singing this while i'm ironing and getting ready for the day, and i remember thinking how creepy the black hole sun video is and when i delivered freshly ironed clothes to my hubby, he tells me about Chris's death. :( I had no idea he had died and I'm running around singing his songs. Great talent, great loss. So sad. RIP Chris.
Similar thing happened to me yesterday morning. Partner was already at work. Had youtube on the tv playing randon stuff automatically. After awhile Chriss Cornell unplugged in Sweden came one while I was getting ready for the day. I haven't listenend to him in years and I thought to myself "Wow I forgot how good he is. Should start listening to him again more." He's been on for an hour then my partner texts me that he died. At first I thought he was at the front door and he could hear me listening to Chris and wanted to mess with me. Then I googled. He is dead. I got the fucking chills all over my body. I'm totally heartbroken. So fortunate I got to see him play 3 years ago. ❤
The world lost one of it's treasures.. What a privileged to have a Great Artist, Humanitarian, Advocate, Philanthropist, and an All Around, Good Guy our generation ever had. I literally felt a pain in my heart when I learned of his death

Nicolette Gray It really does. life sucks, I'm a artist who was starting to become a tattooist but had a hand injury and now lost my ability to do any art and it really fucks you up and I've been in a dark place but never so dark to think of such a thing. I truly hurt for Chris and his family, I can't imagine the despair he must have been in, last night. Its crazy how someone who brought so much to so many people all over the world could be so alone and sad. I hope that he found peace and his family can find some peace in this tragedy.

A mere few hours later I get a call from my friend who was working at the police station and got the report he was dead. amazing what pain can linger in someone's head. he just played a great show and you would never have imagined a few hours later he met his end. rip chris

I have loved Chris from the time I was 10 years old, and I was due to see him with Soundgarden at the next show at Rock on the Range, so this is especially heart-breaking to me. Hearing him sing this, all I want to do is hug him and hold onto him and tell him everything's going to be okay - as if that could have made any difference. It just tears me up inside knowing this beautiful human being we all knew and loved was in so much pain!
I cant even believe this I can barely make it through these.....and he defiantly doesn't seem himself....really he's off. But always beautiful even on his off days, his poor tortured soul.... 3:22 HEART BREAKING
Chris was a genius, his music will live on. He battled depression and clearly did not look good on this video, with that being said I've seen multiple performances of him were he looks bad/way worse than here. This has been shocking, what a tragedy.... may he Rest In Peace

Finally after a year and a half am I able to listen this. Damn Chris' death hit me hard. Feel like all my heroes are leaving me in droves.
