Never thought about it, 🤔 yeah, you are right!
Minute of Mae!!! Always makes my day!
Nice word play
Aunt Mae
I watched the whole Minute of Mae playlist … more videos please and thank you ❤
The best part of these videos is her smile at the end. Ok the content ,too!
I need to pick up one of these to add to my collection! I love old British revolvers.
It truly is a revolver of all time
Hearing all of Mae's notes and gripes about a gun's ergonomics makes me want to hear her review modern stuff. She has a way of putting "this gun is uncomfortable" into such specifics that make clear exactly what contributes to the feel of something in your hand.
Excellent coverage
A joy as always. Thank you very much.
What a hodge podge revolver. Its the worst of a Schofield, Merlwin Hulbert and European marshall double actions all rounded up into one
They were not too well liked, I recall, even before that one infamous accident.
thanks for the review!
a grat very interesting minute Mrs Mea.have a good one.

Now that is an improvement.
Love my minute of Mae
Good review
Wow that recoil looked brutal.
And that speak volumes!
Definitely an eccentric pistol, but they're getting there. Thanks Mar.
Nice gun
That is one sweet looking revolver though!
Whoot whoot
Wow, it must be bad if Mae would trade it for the birds head grip and heavy trigger of the Colt 1878.
Pretty sure I'm now in love :)
It’s also known that during world war 2 this Revolver was used by recognized guerrilla fighters.
Not surprising, like how so many 1900 or earlier designs slipped into rear line and irregular use in WW1
Along with sten guns
Why is there a dogleg joint in the cylinder frame when it's still a gated loader? Strange design. I'd rather have a Webley.
I noticed that, too. Looks kind of like the gap for a loading rammer on a cap and ball design, but with the rammer removed.
Because it's not a gate unloader, its a top break.
That gap is there because, when you break it open to reload, the cylinder has to come forward a centimeter or so your the brass to clear the cylinder. That dogleg turns into a neat corner as you open the gun. It just looks goofy when it's closed.
It is a top break as had been said, and it enables you to eject spent brass and retain unfired cartridges. A bit weird admittedly but it is British.
Why doesn't every revolver have a grip wedge to fill up the awful space under the trigger guard that ruins your aim
Looking at this revolver ,I couldn't help but notice if Colt and Smith And Wesson had a child it would look like this. Remember when dealing with British engineering, they designed the marble to have two parts.
Thanks!
👍👍👍
You're the top you're the Mona Lisa and a good shot too😅😅😅😅
What is the purpose of that hump on the front of the frame?
I expected break open by thumbnail
💯👍✌!

Interesting to me that the people at Enfield made such a fantastic rifle but such a clumsy revolver.
Not their finest hour. The later Enfield No.2 was much better.
Mostly the No.2 was better because Webley first designed it, but the UK government thought their bid was too expensive so they went behind Webley's back and had Enfield make a knockoff of it. Didn't hold up so well in court so they had to pay Webley damages, and eventually the need for handguns grew so big that they HAD to contract Webley anyway, thus both revolvers were in service, side by side.
At least it was a good knockoff.
@@0neDoomedSpaceMarine great account of gov. Acquisition subterfuge. Glad Webley got paid.
wow a handgun i have used. :)
All things considered, the Enfield mk II doesn't seem "that bad". If your hands are large enough, manipulating the revolver is easy enough and even then, despite being a gate loader, it's still simultaneous ejection... faster than other gate loaders. Not the best design and certainly not without its flaws, but it still has some advantages.
It's on the same level as the Reichsrevolver.
@@Gunsbeerfreedom87
Don't be ridiculous, the Reichsrevolver was on another level of bad.
Makes me think of John Cleese
You first saw this gun in Silverado too?
Yep, I was thinking "what the heck is that??"@@Pcm979
Can't beat the spam comments. Funny how TH-cam can instantly shadowban people who mention certain things, but not spam

Heavy weight, Heavy recoil,
Small bullet, Low impact
*Fck this thing*
Sorry rather have a Schofield
They took a look at all the options and new innovations in revolvers, then picked the worst of all worlds.
Another good synopsis. Q. Why do Americans, and its only in America, do they paint or whiten the serial numbers, and other frame markings? It looks ridiculous and out of place on a historic firearm.
Its easier to read in photographs and videos
Am i the only getting frustrated with just one minut… i need MORE !!! 👻
Will an hour do? th-cam.com/video/Xy5vqD-gUao/w-d-xo.html
