Here’s a trick Periphery taught me. If you don’t have a whammy bar but you have a sort of floating bridge(like an Ibanez standard one) if you strum the 6th string but bend the 5th string. The 6th one will detune. It works with the other strings as well. (In case you wanted to play this song)

Everything Marc puts out is incredible. Easily one of the most creative guitarists out today - and with that said (I’m not hating on this because I’m happy to see any play through they put out) but just look at the degree of difficulty and creativity between the Entry Level Exit Wounds play through and this. I love VOM, but nothing touches what Marc (and the rest of the band) was doing on The Common Man’s Collapse and ID. Miss that old stuff, but keep rocking regardless!

Im just so confused about the scale length of his guitar. Kiesel lists them as 25.5 but i swear it looks like a baritone 27 scale. Either way its so sick. Marcs true talent lies in his picking hand.
What I don't understand is how in that opening riff, the 3rd and 4th notes are both played on the open top string but sound like 2 different notes. Maybe it's just some sonic trickery at that frequency. Either way, one of my favorite albums and one of my favorite songs on the album. Killer playing as always Marc.
