Trains at Havant, PDL - 20th July 2022

- Hello and welcome to my latest video.
I visited to my other local station, ( Havant ) Which is situated on Portsmouth Direct Line.
Havant always has a place in my heart, not only I grew up there for so many years before I moved, it just never changes, it's always exactly how I remembered it, even I was younger when I used to come down here a lot watching trains after school, which was during slam door era.
One thing has sadly changed was the Railway gate footbridge, shame there is safety railing at the top, if the old bridge was still there I would of done lot of shots on the bridge as that is a fantastic view. Very gutted that they had to modernise it.
Trains you will see is South Western Railway Desiro 444 & 450, Southern Electrostar & EMU 313, even 313201 in BR blue Iivery.

I live in Havant, and it’s so amazing that we’re actually getting noticed
I used to live in Havant as well years ago, lived there for so many years. Now live in Fareham.
Also Trains at Havant has gotten more quieter now without GWR Brighton - Great Malvern services. I remember back in 90s & early 2000s we used to have Virgin Trains come down there that ran Portsmouth Harbour / & Southsea - Blackpool North, Portsmouth Harbour - Liverpool Lime Street & Portsmouth Harbour - Manchester. And they used DMU 158, HST 43 & Class 47 & the Voyagers. Along with the SWT & Connex South Central slam doors and Wessex Electrics 442. Boy those were the good old days.
