When this movie came out in 2001.. the whole nation was captivated by it's story, grandeur, milieu and everything! I always dreamed of visiting the Raichand Mansion and living there, as a kid... good old days..
💯The theatre was overfull not housefull. Granted it was weekend but still. They sold more tickets than seating capacity I just remember sitting in dad lap in a row of plastic chairs they arranged last minute for extra tickets sold😂

Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham is the best thing that has happened in Bollywood, it's a film where every desi culture got connected too.
this movie is a classic gem family entertainer and one of the greatest Hindi films ever made.
The star cast, performance, soundtrack, family values and the chemistry between SRK and Kajol as usual was absolutely wonderful.

mr raichand (amitabh) family lives in a palace in UK but audience should believe it is india. after disowning his adopted son rahul (you must have heard the name) he goes to UK. this shows earth is round.
There are such palaces in India in Himachal and uttrakhand.
