the organ at the end is the most beautiful thing i have ever heard
I agree this is a beautiful song, but have you heard "To be Over", recorded three years later with Patrick Moraz on keybpards (and Howe on steel guitar and electric sitar, too)? That song has most of the great elements of "Your Move" magnified to another dimension.
Absolutely! This is one of Tony Kaye's best moments with Yes. The sound they got out of that Hammond B3 on this album is remarkable.
Im 51 yrs in age. this isolated stuff is what we all had to do in our heads as listeners in the 70's 80's 90's and beyond. i almost wish we had the isolated tracks and DAW's back then. Almost.
I love The Yes Album. Even though Rick isn't on it, I love Kaye's big Hammond chords as a backdrop to Howe's riffs. Absolute classic.
This is simply beautiful
Yes, that's Yes !
I'm very grateful to you for uploading this, thank you, I've been trying to figure out the vocal harmonies and this will simplify that quite a bit
I'm really pleased by your comment
This makes me want to upload a roundabout closer look soon !
Me too!
I love heart of the sunrise so beautiful
More of these! These are great breakdown of tracks!
pretty sure that first "electric guitar" section is just an overdub done with Chris' bass! he did similar high melodic stuff on Heart of the Sunrise too
I absolutely agree with you. That is a bass guitar
Man, no doubt about it, that's Chris all the way.
Definitely a bass, I wonder if it could just be the main bass track pitched up an octave for effect? it just sounds exactly the same as the lower one.
More Yes isolated track breakdowns please! Maybe Heart of the Sunrise, And You and I, or CTTE?
I’m doing a cover of your move for my coursework so this really helped for a backing track, thank you!
HOLY SHIT, THAT ALBUM COVER HAHAHAHA
EVEN THE FUCKING DOLL'S HEAD!
@@chriswakefield9538 Lmao
@@chriswakefield9538 I had a lot of fun making it
:)
@@zachavecunh Really good work, by the way. Everything is crystal clear. Probably my second favourite Yes album after Drama.
Esto es lo mejor que ha creado Yes, maravilloso.
Brilliant. When singers actually sang with no trickery
This just came up in our band as a cover suggestion... appreciate it!
❤ Chris ❤
Crazy cool!
what about the give peace a chance vocals?
Holy
oh god I realize that all of them are smiling. even the mannequin. creepy, but goofy at the same time lol
