  • Crochet for beginners. A very easy crochet headband all in single crochet stitch with a big bow in colorful rainbow yarn. Follow along to make your own beautiful headband in this easy beginners project. Slow step by step instructions to make a fun hair accessory for babies, toddlers or kids.
    (Never leave a baby unattended with a headband)
    As a reference newborn babies need 11 inches
    0-3 months 11-12 inches
    3-6 months 13-14 inches
    6-9 months 15-17 inches
    Toddler 16-18 inches
    Child 17-19 inches
    Teen 18-21 inches
    Adult 20-22 inches
    All of this depends on each person, some people have bigger heads.
    I do not put instructions here because I honestly do not like to follow written instructions, but perhaps one day I will start adding it to my description.
    This is a wide headband made with cotton mix yarn so very friendly for the spring and summer months.
    I used a number 3 yarn, so if you decide to use a different size of yarn your outcome will be different.
    (SEE BELOW FOR YARN)
    Cheers Crocheters
    xoxo

      Sandra thank you for watching and for your time to share with me that you are enjoying my tutorials. I try to put myself in the position of someone who is new to crochet and the questions they might have during the process. There’s always room to grow but thank you for coming along 😉

      @@livingwithcancer1245 you must be an amazing grandmother! My children did not get to have a grandmother, but I had one who lived to 100!!! And she knitted a blanket for each great grandchild. Grandmothers are simply wonderful.

      I am very happy this video was helpful for you. Yes, written patterns can be tricky. Thank you for letting me know that it does help when I add the measurements in cm. I will make it a point to add that from now on in all my videos.

    How wide would you recommend making it for the smallest size?

    • @humblehus
      @humblehus  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Diana, always as wide as the Headband for this project, I say. But you are the boss of your work and whatever you like is what matters in the end.

    I only have 4 weight yarn. Is this ok ?

    • @humblehus
      @humblehus  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching. Any weight yarn is fine, as long as you are measuring along for the size that you need.
