Yesssss fellow black girl solo Disney/Universal traveler here! I actually prefer it to going with people at this point. The first time I thought I’d get bored so I had my headphones. Never listened to anything on them.
I know I'm late to this video, but I love solo traveling or just with one more person. When you're solo, you never have to worry about keeping track of other people and them holding you up on the other stuff you want to do. And solo trips can be so freeing, plus you can discover more about yourself.
I’ve never done a solo trip at Universal but I have a other parks. Love the idea of takin pics with characters and socializing with people that have the same interest as I do. Trips are fun when you’re with friends but Solo trips are the best and fun too

I’m going to Universal Orlando solo in December. I’m looking forward to it. Being on my own time & going where I want & when I want. Stepping out if my comfort zone in the Wizarding World sounds good to me!

I went to universal by myself and it was fine, got picked up at the airport, didn’t have to rent a car ,everything is right there, the only thing I couldn’t do was go to a restaurant by myself, still working on that😊
I'm going to Six Flags and Dorney Park by myself this summer. I've never gone by myself, but my friend group is only willing to go to one park this year. I want to go to more than 1 park this year. So I'm glad there's other people that go alone and have a good time. I'm excited to go to some parks by myself this year.
Wheeew child hard rock is waaaaaayyy to expensive for my cheap asz lol. But thank you so much for this content I'm riding solo Dolo for my vacation and I appreciated all the tips!I choose to stay at Endless summer resorts...what do u think of this one yay or nay?
I can't afford to travel right now but I got a pass to Kennywood where I live. I go with my mom sometimes and also go on solo dates. I have been going to Kennywood with people since I was little I used to think I needed people to go with but you don't it's so much fun alone as well and no one cares!
for a solo trip to universal, did you find it necessary to get a rental car? im going alone in november and im on the fence about getting one. my trip is 4 days, the first day is travel, day 2 and 3 are park days, and day 4 is travel going home.
Hi Tatiana! It’s really nice to hear about your upcoming solo trip. If you’re staying on property (or at an off-site hotel with a shuttle), then you won’t need a car rental. All of the parks at Universal are within walking distance of each other. There’s also CityWalk where you can enjoy lunch and dinner. There’s really no need to have a car unless you’re trying to explore Orlando. You’ll only need to think about getting to and from the airport.
