I tried using 1 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips instead of glucose. Result: it's not that chewy compared when you use glucose, too sweet too. Next time i will be using white chocolate chips, i will lessen it to 1 cup. But it is still best to bake the recipe with glucose. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Thank you!!!

I just used your recipe! Super moist and chewy! :) feeling ko lang kailangan ko pa ibake ng longer kasi ung ibabaw saktong sakto pero ung baba medyo mushy. Baka di pa luto ng bongga yung ilalim. @@nerissataylan649 matagal mo sya na mix ms.nerissa? pag mixer kasi, nag i incorporate sya ng air din sa mixture. if na dy naman, overvbaked po. sa oven ko usually 275 °F to 300°F (max na for bars) po ako.

Do you cut it while warm? Because I cut the bars right after cooled completely and it was very sticky on my knife, little bit messy when I cut. But...this recipe tastes amazing ❤ Thank you po.
Nope Jean. It's glucose syrup. You can substitute with sugar molasses which actually is part of the original recipe that foresaw only butter, castor sugar and molasses. Corn syrup could do the job though, even honey or agave syrup, but it will affect the tenderness of the product, as it will be less "glued together" but still soft. Cheers from Italy!

Question is, talaga bang tumitigas siyang parang bato if placed sa ref na naka liner inside the box lang? Planning to sell sana pero gusto ko ilagay sa clear plastic each to maintain the texture.. I used 9x13 pan, yields into 24 bars :)

malambot pa din po, un usual na parang crust sa top lang ng mga bars po. if ung loob is hindi naman, try mo po ibahin ng pwesto sa oven, baka too lapit sa taas po. i mean use lower rack.

Hello ate Jhoanienie hehe already made this recipe for almost 18 times na ata and always nauubos agad ng aking fam and relatives di manlang ako natitirahan 🤣 so I always make another half recipe for my own haha. And I noticed na mas lalong na dedevelop ang flavors niya if left after 2-3 days sa ref or room temp 🤍

yes, but i do not recommend. glucose is important with this recipe. result is softer and chewier than using corn syrup.

Hello! Tried the recipe but it became so fudgy and sticky. :( i used grams. Is it possible that the glucose in grams is too much?
1/2 c glucose is 160 grams, i just double checked it few days ago. it's fudgy and sticky, but not too much. you let it cool before slicing?

ms.yelrish, im not sure ilang grams un glucose. check ko tomorrow if may glucose ako i weigh ko po. pede mo po lagyan ng konting shortening or butter ung measuring cup para di too sticky po. un lasa nya...sya na ung pinaka malapit na lasa ng butterscotch iloilo na, na try ko na recipe. tried a lot na po.😊
use po kayo ng butter na you like ung lasa talaga. it will matter po sa recipe na to po.

@@kagehikari4563 if may ok ka ng brownie recipe po, try to add kahit mga 2 tbsp lang ng glucose muna. sya un nagpapa chewy dito sa butterscotch po.😊 eag too much agad kasi nakakatigas din sya pag nasobrahan.😊

Hello ate Jhoanienie hehe already made this recipe for almost 18 times na ata and always nauubos agad ng aking fam and relatives di manlang ako natitirahan 🤣 so I always make another half recipe for my own haha. And I noticed na mas lalong na dedevelop ang flavors niya if left after 2-3 days sa ref or room temp 🤍
