- In this video, we will show you how to use a plastic comb binder (Peach Star Binder 21).

► Take one clear plastic cover and punch it. It should be on top of the first page in your project. Place a few pages on the punching side and pull the lever. Repeat these steps until you punch all the pages. You can use the metal teeth to place the punched pages, so everything will be organized. Finally, take back binding cover (white cardboard - leather look), and punch it. It will be the last page. Place the plastic comb onto the teeth of the comb opener. Push the lever back to open the comb. Thread the punched pages onto the teeth of the comb. You can do it at once or in small sections. Pull the lever to close the comb. Finally, open the waste bin and clean it.
► To remove the plastic comb. Place it onto the teeth of the comb opener and push the lever back. Remove the paper and pull the lever to close the comb. You can reuse the comb.
► You can use this machine to make 4 holes in a document.

Got to the end and my binding combs were too small for a 190 page doc lol. How do you punch 4 holes please?
If you use this machine, you must insert the sheets at the back side, in the slot above the waste container.

can you use coils on this type of punch after everything's done? or are you stuck using a comb only?
This machine can only be used with combs. Coils require additional pressure to close, which this machine can't apply.
First time I used it, I wasted 12 colored papers :D but second time I did it correctly while the client is watching me doing the job the whole time
Ah, LOL.
My first experience with the machine was also unsuccessful, too.
The video is nice but I still can't use my machine. For instance, the 10mm combs claim to handle 65 A4 papers, so I tried to bind together 45 regular printer papers incl front and back, so I was giving generous margin. But it's impossible. Anything above 20 papers is completely impossible to bind together with the 10mm.
Really helpful video! I have similar but a bit different model at home. What do you think is it possible to use metal spirals like more elegant then this plastic ones?

This one works only with plastic ones. The metal binders work on another principle. You buy the metal combs open, and after punching the paper you have to squeeze the wire comb to close it. It won't close automatically after releasing the lever.

No, you can use this machine only with plastic spiral combs.

How many papers hold in comb binding .
It depends on the size of the comb you use. This machine can bind up to 350 sheets. The size of the comb should be between 6 and 38 mm.
What about metallic one not plastic does it work ?cuz I did not how to use it with metal one
