    Thank you, Nebs, for pulling out these particular sets of stops. For centuries the great artificial caverns of Gothic cathedrals have reverberated with the sounds of magnificent organs. Amazing sound design is not a 21st or even a 20th or 19th-Century idea, and it's good to know that the engineers at Moog understand this and that you get it too.

      @@cmangrum1 So you can't get these sounds on a Grandmother ? He has a different reverb effect box added -exactly how and what ?

    Absolutely magnificent sounds for ambient music, it reminds me so much blade runner...I'd like to approach the world of synthesiser, do you have any suggestion for a very good VST instrument close to the grandmother?

    I have a specific grandmother question... I have a sequencer eurorack module (tinrs Tuesday), and the keyboard seq on the keyboard is much easier to use, so was wondering if you could do a video on using a sequencer into the grandma so I can see how it can be useful?

  • @Fallingoverbackwards

    Awesome !! Can you try with model d or poly d ? Can matriarch make. Same sounds

    • @CaalamusTube
      @CaalamusTube 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The Matriarch is the same as the Grandmother... plus more. But it's missing the Spring Reverb.

  • @sam-no5qb
    @sam-no5qb 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey, question about your mastering of this beautiful synth! Is there anything that the grandmother cannot do that say, the model d can? Especially in terms of low end, in your fiddlings have you found the GM to satisfy those juicy raw bass line needs? hahah keep up the good work my friend!

    • @dietervdw
      @dietervdw 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I find the GM loses a lot of bottom end when turning up the resonance.
      Easily fixed with some EQ though!
