Tocco meraviglioso, interpretazione calda, passionale, dolce, sentimentale all'ennesima potenza; tecnica sublime. Una tra le più belle interpretazioni da me mai ascoltare. Sicuramente uno tra i massimi pianisti del '900.

Super-authentisch! Es scheint, Fiorentino ist kompromisslos seinen eigenen Weg gegangen, nicht nur in der Planung seiner Karriere, sondern auch in der Interpretation. Sehr erfrischend, angesichts der vielen run-of-the-mill Pianisten, die man kaum voneinander unterscheiden kann.

Nell'ascoltarli, li ho centellinati come un buon vino. Non ne conoscevo l'esistenza, ma a fine ascolto non c'è dubbio alcuno che ci si trova ai vertici dell'esecuzione dei Notturni di Chopin. Intelligenza e sensibilità senza pari. Euritmia ineccepibile!

9/1 is a scramble; but 9/3 is the finest interpretation of this nocturne that I have heard: for once there is about it something of the night, unlike the sunlit performances of several eminent pianists.
