Those long cardboard pieces are spacers. Since the inserts are thicker than the plastic, the scrapbook will bulge after you add a certain number of pages. By putting the spacers in, you'll create a more even scrapbook. (I'm not sure if you know that. It's hard to tell from the video since you didn't have the post extenders, but I thought this tip might be helpful)
This video was helpful! It's surprisingly hard to find a video about this topic. I hope you found those longer posts by now- it looks like re been a few years since you posted this video. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
I was absolutely exasperated and then I found the video. Before I put my album back together, I am just going to find the longer posts to start with. Hopefully, I'll find this site again if I become perplexed. The screws were exceptionally tight in my store album and I had to use a small pliers on one end and hold it tight while I unscrewed. Doing this by myself was unpleasant. You necouraged me.
Karyl Entner check the pioneer album website, or if you have a scrapbooking expo in your area. Thanks for watching and commenting. I had my hubby help me unscrew some too. Hope it works out for you
going onto pioneer's website, they sell the long post extensions for less than $1! but shipping is extreme! try to find them locally or buy in bulk. scrapbook expo would also be a good place to look at the pioneer booth.
