(To clarify, this isn't sarcasm; Merriam-Webster agrees with you. Interestingly, American Heritage Dictionary (wordnik, duckduckgo's default, draws from it) swaps between "pious and devout" and "a self-righteous dick" every 2 seconds without specifying which one is more common or recent.)

@@matthewtalbot-paine7977 So if you want a serious answer: most vegans object to eating meat on ethical grounds, like the circumstances of the animal while they are alive and the animal not being able to consent to being slaughtered and eaten. Since those do not play a role, I would say they are able to participate in the eucharist. (Not a full vegan and also not a full Catholic myself though.)

I don't know if paramedics can declare a patient deceased. Rather, if the patient dies under the paramedic's care while in transit to the hospital, the death declaration is conducted at the hospital by a doctor. But, of course, there might be different rules for different countries.
He'll make an excellent traffic enforcer. All we have to do is follow him and he'll show us the way.

Historically speaking, priests have served as judges and marriage counselors though to different standards than the modern professions. Modern priests still quite often do some of the latter.
At a bar turning water into wine. At a bakery or Cafe serving the bread directly into people's tongues

I'm a Mormon/Latter-day Saint, and I can tell you- a LOT of people who served as missionaries (RMs/"returned missionaries") go into sales jobs. Especially as summer jobs in college.

@@kitkat47chrysalis95 Another member here. No, the look is not exclusive, but it is typical of the missionaries to go out in white shirts, ties, darker slacks, and the ubiquitous black name tags. The black tie they used here was rather more CIA than they were going for, but even then the missionaries get mistaken for CIA agents all the time, particularly in eastern Europe.

Actually, that's when I realised these Irishmen haven't attended Mass for a long time. In the Catholic liturgy, the "And also with you" response was replaced by "And with your spirit" at least 10 years back. At least that's how it's been here in India.
This was hilarious! Foil’s reactions and face expressions throughout the sketch were on point. Both Foil’s and Arms’ performance were on point for their characters. But Hog was missed.

Much as I'd love you guys to get a commission, I dread you getting a commission from someone who doesn't get what makes you you - the live elements, the messing, the meta and commentary around the sketches, the sense that at any moment someone might corpse a few frames too early to get out cleanly. I worry dreadfully about you being forced into some highly produced, polished version of TV perfection that's just like any other sketch show format. Although I do also acknowledge that expectations of a TV audience are for things to be polished... there's a lot more anxiety about showing the working on TV.
If you do TV I want you to be able to be yourselves.
I forget who produces John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme but they would maybe get you. He has some elements which remind me of your style.

Foil's expressions really get me when he's trapped in a weird dynamic and starting to suffer. The interview series are great.

This one was great! I certainly wouldn't accuse you of laziness just because one sketch format works well for different characters. Love the wordplay, the exaggerated calm of the priest's voice, the interviewer's skeptical faces, and the sudden appearance of the Mormon! Hope Hog is okay. Best wishes for the upcoming tour!
Now I'm imagining the sequel... a priest works an office job.
I'm picturing him eating fancy chocolate in the break room and a coworker asking him, "Hey, where did you find those?" To which the priest responds, "Seek and ye shall find." as a voice off camera exclaims, "Hey, who stole the chocolate from my desk!"
During lunch break, the priest lifts up a piece of bread above his head and states, "Take this, all of you and eat of it."
The somewhat baffled coworkers respond,"Umm, no thanks." and "Nah. I'm good. I brought my own lunch."
The priest then lifts up a glass of wine ("Where'd he get a glass from?" says another employee). The priest says, "Take this, all of you and drink of it."
Both coworkers reach for the wine at the same time, trying to get it before the other.
And then at a meeting, when the manager asks him about the presentation for the finished project, the priest responds, "I confess to my manager, and to you my coworkers and colleagues that I have greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and what I have failed to do...-"
"So what are you saying?" interrupts the manager.
"That I lied about having the presentation finished and didn't complete it because I was playing Tetris," replies the priest.
The manager sighs. "Did you even finish the project?"
The priest responds, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."
"I'll take that as a no, then," says the manager. "Moving on..."
I watched this last night on Facebook. I was screaming laughing at my phone. As a catholic this is pretty sweet.

I think the interviewer got impressed by the cobbler bit, but was eventually turned off by Declan's weaknesses (didn't expect it to be the 7 cardinal sins hahaha clever). If I were him, I would definitely hire the other one, I've seen one in action (very good at sales talk).
