FFXIV is a wide and varied game. For this FF14 can be very confusing for newcomers, especially with Endwalker adding so much new content. so here's a totally serious video offering nothing but good advice. ;)
You were right about not being serious if playing as a lala potato. It just make the game 10 times funnier.

I changed my character into a Lalafell once… so I could go inside that Lalafell house you can find in game.
And then I immediately changed my character back to normal.

To be fair, HW and StB are basically gigantic loading screens of filler in which practically nothing of value happens.

I play lalafell because I personally hyur too basic, cat and rabbit boys cliche, dragon bois too edgy, and buff bois too large. Lalafells just make me think of Hobbits and I like hobbits.

You see, Zinga, I can see you are a man of fine tastes for choosing femaura, yet I cannot help but to notice the absence of the actual objectively most correct race to play in the game. Which, clearly, is max height Femroe. I do, however, not judge you based on this. It requires people of strong will to resist the unrelenting call of thicc dommy mommy thighs.
Generally folk (not me) play lala to get lots of attention and protection without constantly being hit on like other races.
I find lala to be grown men who are pervs.i was a cat girl and one kept going under my long dresses.i turned out they were a guy being s female lala to perv on unsuspecting girls.i changed characters,being a girl was hard lmao
