Another great Doug scheme was in the episode "Furious Gorge". In this one he pretended to go meetings with a group dealing with over eating while instead he was attending meetings with a group of "Battered Husbands". He went to their meeting because he could eat all the treats he wanted to eat while venting about how Carrie abuses him at home and he gets to "embellish" the stories as much as he wants to!!! Lol!!!!
I always liked his slamdunk scheme the best. Or whatever it was called. It's the episode where he fakes having an injury, so he gets pity points at home, but then he goes off to the gym to play basketball on a trampoline. One of the best episodes.
In that episode the funniest part was when Arthur is waiting for Doug in the living room with all the lights off!!!! Like something out of an Alfred Hitchcock TV show or Twilight Zone TV Zone. Lol!!!!🤣🤣🤣
That being said, I think they don’t so you’re in a position of going to tv land for the free episodes, thus giving them revenue for adds. I could be shitting out my mouth though....just an opinion.
