Thank you very much for the support and encouragement I will do a video on that very topic of how to navigate the line between misery and enjoyment. It is very subjective but worth pursuing. There are so many videos on YT which scare the heck out of me because they are so doctored. I worry that people new to canoeing or outdoor adventure will run into trouble by emulating the people posting the fake vids. Example - People eating in or near their tent - bad move for the animals who venture too close due to the tantalizing smell of an easy meal. The camper will think it is an attack and the animal will be vilified in a subsequent video perpetuating the lie. This struggle for me is worse than humping my gear up a 30 percent incline on a portage. Thanks again.
