My 69 th. My mother in law died in our presence this afternoon. It was a peaceful event. We are thankful .
I watched this morning this special video because of the poppy's, waiting for a call. It was a connecting remembering my own mother moment. In my 20 ths I took my mother to a huge poppy field and took there very playful pictures; a very precious moment in my live. You painting poppy's brought me back to that moment. Love this. I must be antique also… I remember the same things from my childhood. We had the basics to live. Art supplies didn’t qualify. So… today I don’t have 400 shoes either, but I have tons of paper and dozens of paint brushes. Thank you from Washington State, USA.

Diane - I love all your creative painting.Your "blobby" creatures are so fun & creative. I love sitting and trying these - great way to loosen up for a painting session. Please keep these things coming - they are fun, I love your stories & I feel like I am sitting in the studio with you having a cup o' and it is lovely. I completely understand how you feel about stationary and art supplies - I hate to admit that I am a bit of "art supply" hoarder....but I am working very strongly to start using my "precious" materials.

Looks like you've got 8 or 9 cows & a handful of sheep & goats. I hope the drought ends soon. It's not easy to feed farm animals in those conditions. We had a small dairy farm in Wisconsin w/ assorted others but usually no drought conditions.
These poppies are lovely!! And it will be a marker of memories during these times. That's what I love about watercolors- what you create is like a time capsule- reminding you of events now passed. 🍀🐞

Love, love the sketchy lines on your watercolor poppies! It adds so much interest and contrast to your artwork. It's everything except "perfect", which makes it so visually interesting. I would imagine you could share many little tidbits about the behind the scenes rules concerning YT, but it's best you remain silent, lol. You’ve made me think about a couple of things! First, my favorite places to go is a stationary store just for the smell. Also, as far back as I remember, an art piece I did/do is not complete without line work. As a child I drew the outside lines dark. ❤️❤️❤️

Your property is just a dream.... I love my little one bedroom condo with big beautiful mature trees that cascade in front of my window but looking at your property it just makes me swoon Into a dreamland.... What a blessing and a gift to grow up in such an amazing environment❤ I think I have attempted painting every one of your tutorials you really have helped me grow in my artistry.... My father Enjoyed painting watercolor and he introduced me to drawing at a very young age And I am so grateful for TH-cam to find all you amazing artists to really dabblin to it again... I just regret that it took me until the age of 60 to identify how much I love to paint and how soothing it is to the soul❤

Hearing your rooster crow in the background brought back so many good memories of being on my grandpa’s farm when I was a little girl. Loved it!
You bring back memories of my childhood! Crepe paper was so magical! We sometimes got the treat of a couple of rolls…about 2 inches wide to hang garlands for birthdays!

Love your comments on the accents. So true. Paa..Parh! Ive been practising ever since! Often hear this accent in Australia seems to be mainly the younger millenial generation. I enjoyed the poppies as well.
Hi there, I am very naughty! I am of the generation that still finds it entertaining listening to different accents and enjoying them. Everyone speaks differently, and personally my accent has changed over the years and I know it. I was born with a good old cockney London accent, but after having lived in so many different places I know it’s changed and I would be more than happy for people to make fun of me!
