LOL, yes my early flowers were rather sad looking too but eventually they started to resemble what I was aiming for.

I would love to know exactly what colors you are using and blending for the poppies, I adore the color, it really glows!

@@penguine342 you will do great, it takes a bit of practice but it is very doable. Just be patient with yourself and don't get discouraged!
Can we use guache in one strock technique
I have not tried it but there is a channel here on youtube called Anna Lovat art and she uses Goache
So real, it is hard to make the back of a flower....beautiful front though
It does take practice but that shell stroke is the basis of many flowers and if you master that the you can do so many variations!
