When I was about 7 yrs old, I first listened to this. I loved this song, and I loved the Muppets. I would listen to it for what seemed like hours. I was listening to it at my mother's former worker place and one of her co-workers noticed me listening to it and tapping my fingers. She said something along the lines of " You wanna play piano, don't you?" I chuckled. Now I'm going into high school next month and I'm going into the high school piano class. I have been playing piano for five years and have never had a lesson except for TH-cam videos. I will be the only freshman in the sophomore piano class. What I'm saying is that, this video single handedly, started my interest into what I now want and have the potential to be. A pianist.

I saw Ken do a somewhat longer improvisation of this on September 27, 2024 during a performance of the Birdland Big Band. It was beyond beautiful and brought many moist eyes to the audience and the other members of the Big Band. Ascher will be 80 this month (October, 2024). He's the co-composer of the song, so who better to bring it to life?
