1:30. Reason One: Resistance (from Freud, patients unconsciously erect a wall to protect themselves from triggering stuff, patients work against the therapists) We know it hurts but can't help it. Two types : Outcome resistance (we cling to our troubles. anxieties protect us) + Process resistance ..I stopped at 6:32 (I find I can't take too much..overload) ..if someoone can carry on the summary from 6:37, it would be cool
yes..anymore of anything is helpful, thank u!!
Will you please do a segment on Caplyta?
Ah yes, process and outcome resistance from Burn's last book. These are interesting ideas, but more RCT research is needed into this style of approach. Fine, he does not stick to pure Beckian CBT. Nice summary of resistance/outcome processes in relation to various anxiety diagnoses. Glad to see you back. I'm a little uneasy that these processes are quite didactic and may benefit from methods adopted more outlined in "Guided Discovery," Padesky's excellent new book. Mere food for thought ?

Would you help me find more information about 5-HT2A -2C receptor distribution in the mesolimbic and VMPFC, DLPFC, and Insula-amygdala pathways? And can you tell me the easiest sources, like books with illustrations, explanations, and diagrams (other than Stahl's essential or illustrated books), videos, etc., that help me know more about the different pathways of every neurotransmitter or modulator and their functions in depth? Thank you in advance.
😂....... No. Bad luck.
@@tonyburton419Seriously?, OK. Thank you for theresponse.🙂
@@anuullannur Well, it's complicated and impossible man, so let's say, "I suspect." NOT, unlike a man walking after supposedly dead and out a few days later from his tomb. And I do not know what your question even means or could mean.
@@tonyburton419Ya, I got it. It is very difficult to say. The questions were about the pathways of mesolimbic, VMPFC, DLPFC, Insula-Amydala: 1). How are they connected? 2). What types of neurotransmitters are acting on or modulating these neuronal networks?. Which networks have5-HT2A-2C receptors as the predominant receptors in these networks.? 4). Can you recommend any illustrated books or videos of lectures that describe these networks?
