I have a tree rotting in the center. The branches are long and full of leaves. We have cut the center before not doing anything but cutting away. 2 yrs later the tree continues to rot in the center. I intend to trim back the branches as they are large and heavy. What do I do to stop center from rotting. Foam spray? then covering that area for the winter or until the foam can harden? Once the foam is dry I can paint if I like or leave alone? I've watched many videos and am asking if I am getting good advice in helping my tree to survive? Please help
