With the full unbanning of Dragon Rulers, I've been thinking about DR Exodia. It's a deck some people (me included) played back in DR format, with Sword of the Seven Stars (a +1 in DR decks that has 12 targets (at the very least) as well as Super Rejuvenation you could set up a standard Dragon Ruler board + draw 8 cards in the end phase. I mean, obviously it wasn't as good as pure Dragon Rulers or Dragunity Rulers but it was a more fun variant of Exodia than the usual Library or Blue-Eyes engine FTKs. Pack in more modern tech for added draw power, searches, a more survivable endboard than "Draccosack, pass." Could be fun. Unfortunately, ain't no way I'm spending money to draw 3 copies of every Ruler of D. All of them UR? Jeez...
@Potrice1337 There are these things called handtraps now which are pretty much reserved space in any real deck. Some negate monsters, some negate draw spells, so his monster would never draw and he can lose out on a crucial +1 like gold bamboo sword. Unless your opponent bricks like his did this strategy is very mediocre, much better ways to play exodia now.
@@Potrice1337if you go up against a deck that makes an xyz monster named “ Timestar Magician” that adds the head of Exodia to hand you’ll wanna negate a link monster named Selene or an effect monster it recycles called Blue Dragon summoner with handtraps or other applicable interruptions. The build I mentioned just finds ways to keep sending it to grave and uses its gy effect to search every piece

Wow, that sounds like tons of fun!! If I ever craft the rulers, I am definitely going to try that out.
Ashand drolls are still in the main decks and also mistaken arrest is a Problem
I definitely want to play exodia just to piss off those meta slaves and make them see how it feels to watch someone play solitaire
Haha🤣
Solitaire 2 just came out
Haha for sure
Lol
Most of them surrendered because they feared the summoning of Exodia the forbidden one 😶
🤣
You can enjoy this deck till gold after that ..its no good
I haven't played Yugioh in over a decade, but how can you counter this deck if the exodia player goes first?
Id use the build with Selene and Blue Dragon Summoner after gold. Way more consistent
You just need one or two hand traps

why I cannot play my exodia deck...?
Idk. Do you have cards that are limited or banned that aren't supposed to be in there?
what about original bamboo sword
Haha it's funny that you mention that, I just pulled one last night and plan on putting it in next time I play!!
@@TheRealTcgGuy i just tried it. it makes the deck so much more consistent its pretty crazy, let me know how you feel about it
@@morbentfel For sure! How many copies do you think a guy should play?
