I just got my sisterlocks installed back in September of 2024, best decision I’ve ever made. I was so deep into my hair when I was a loose natural that I couldn’t properly plan much of anything without my hair being the full thought of how it would be before, during and after an event. Best decision I’ve ever made !! And thank you for the tips you brought out in this video.
Thank you sister! I’m almost 5 yrs in and I believe I should have twice my current length. I was always encouraged by my consultant to only use water my hair has been so dry! At 18 mths I lost so many of my nearly 600 locks (I’ve had some combined now). Later that year quite a few broke off and had to be repaired. My hair was dyed red prior to locking but I believe my color treated locks plus hot climate down south also contributed. Finally I decided to make my own decision to hydrate my dry hair and scalp. Thank you again! I’m running to grab all the above. Blessings
Olaplex no.3 or Redken acid bonding treatment. Use before you wash your hair. And then you need to use a leave to keep your hair moisturised. Overly dry hair breaks.
Has she said why only water? With you being 5 years on your journey, there's no risk of unravelling 🤔 And your hair needs moisture to prevent all the breakage (especially with colour!). I agree with making your own decision and at least making the spray bottle with a couple natural oils you can spray in the mornings.
Your locks are beautiful. I've been locked for 3 years in September. I got locks because my hair is so fine. My goal is to get it a little thicker and fuller. I moisturizer as we'll with Shaebutter leave in, and I used the Kalidascope drop on my scalp.
I love your locs and am inspired by your videos! I’ve struggled with dryness and want to use natural products as much as possible, so thanks for sharing your all your favs❤ Also, Do you have high or low porosity hair?
Hi there, thank you for the video. Your locs are beautiful. I’m in year 2 of my locs and colored them for the first time since having them about 6mths ago, but because I started adding conditioner to help with the dryness, it started unraveling my locs, so I am going thru a repair. I appreciate you sharing your daily moister routine and I plan to start it myself. How much of each oil do you use in your mixture?
You are so welcome! 🫶🏾 I show the amounts in this video: Sisterlocks Journey | How To Moisturize Sisterlocks, Dreadlocks th-cam.com/video/ZUjyK9HvH7s/w-d-xo.html

You should try bond repair (not protein) product for 6 weeks
@@eduns123 ok! I’m desperately trying to protect my investment so thank you! Any specific recommendation?
