    Setting playback speed to 0.75x allows a really new singer to learn the notes. Then when comfortable, set to full speed.

      Bass part in the Baritone singing region sang by a tenor LOL

    • @pierreodendaal6519
      @pierreodendaal6519 6 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      Considering I'm a Baritone, I can confirm it. When following him, I don't struggle in the parts where it normally does(In the lowest parts). Although that may be because I'm following him.

      @solprab 5 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Yes. I was thinking exactly that.
      The bass part in Hallelujah chorus is in the baritone range.
      He is a tenor. But has some bass practice because he used to both the parts in some of his song videos earlier.

    Absolutely brilliant. I love listening to the parts! By the way, when Peter sings the last 5 hallelujahs, except the fifth, he is singing does not match the music.

    • @jimch
      @jimch 7 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Right, I too just noticed it. The 4 hallelujahs at the end except the very last, he is singing a D note instead of F#. Similarly, there are some not so noticeable word mishaps (sung words not matching the printed text) - for example, "forever, and ever" is sung as "forever, forever".

    Good singing, but he does say "for" instead of "and" right at around 2:30 and 3:53. I'd also prefer a rolled "r" on "reign" and less "er" at the end of the word "forever" and more of a British pronunciation.

    • @NadjaDoris
      @NadjaDoris 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Sang Yoon Just what Peter is singing and what's on the sheet music. The other vocals in the background come from the other parts (tenor, alto, and soprano).

    • @emajekral
      @emajekral 8 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      +Jamie Durisko Peter mixes up some "Forever"s with some "and ever"s - which I know I will likely do too. He also sings D-G-D etc. rather than F#-G-D in the cadences at the end, but its no big deal since it doesn't change the chord. Again, my crimes will be worse.

    • @marcospintor1333
      @marcospintor1333 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No. That’s literally the bass part that was originally written. Basses don’t always have to sing so low. This is a song a of joy so Handle decided to write the bass part a little higher in their range

  • @keithsciacca7451
    @keithsciacca7451 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I could be wrong but this is not the bass part. You can hear the bass section in the original music. I sang bass in our choir and never encountered these high notes. We were an octave lower. But nice job all around.

    • @bryanrobbins5911
      @bryanrobbins5911 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Keith Sciacca This was the exact bass part in my choir. But ofc it's not a bad thing to have it an octave lower either.

    • @marcospintor1333

    • @joeottenthal3065
      @joeottenthal3065 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is the bass part. More likely, you sang it in a different key. If you were accompanied by a band, it was probably transposed to C Major because it is easier to play for the wind instruments.
