    I think Alice was very happy to get out of that toxic family. She had the freedom to grow into the CEO she is now and was able to save Ethan from marrying into that nightmare. The fact he also didn’t go to college was a nice twist.

    What kind of people act like this? My brother married a women who's dad had connections: he and 2 other guys started and built a company that make computer chips that run all kinds of stuff; he even had a contract with the military at one point. He bought then out at age 45, then took on a partner at 55 so he could semi retire: at 62 the partner bought him out so he could completely retire.. He is loaded.. No college degree!!

    Well this does open the door for the comeback kid. Daughter towing the line, gets to hash out the family karma. Victim by default she claws her way from the refuse pile to holding the delinquent loan of big sister. The one sister so strong, the only one capable going past the family’s current standing. The only one to bring in new blood. But the only one who forgot where she came from. Tough love was just not enough. I just love these possibilities!

    What the heck were they thinking while writing the story? If someone cancels the wedding, there is no divorce but annulment of the wedding. The difference between divorce and annulment is, both parties are entitled to marital properties or joint properties in divorce proceedings and takes longer to finalize while for annulment, both parties aren't entitled to anything.

    • @debbiep8260
      @debbiep8260 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +29

      If they planned to register the marriage AFTER the wedding ceremony, neither a divorce nor an annulment would be necessary, since no marriage happened. This is the usual practice in the United States.
      Apparently in Japan, a marriage is legal once the couple has updated their family registries, with or without a wedding ceremony.
      Most of these stories originate in Japan, although they are set in the USA. The writers have little/no understanding of American society.

      I have a few things to ask. Who said you could be so rude about what your concerns are? You DO know many of these channels are composed by people where English is not their native language. Many are Asians. The Romance (originally from Rome) languages include Spanish, English,French, Italian….That’s how people from Spain can easily learn Italian. Etc. Asian languages are not ROMANCE languages. It can be tough for a native Japanese speaker to learn English. English is notoriously difficult to learn since we have rules-but then all the rules are broken…to an ESL speaker, it can get confusing. Grammar and syntax can also be tough. Hence, confusing divorce and annulment, among other things. Can you say you could churn out this content? How about doing it in Cantonese? How about Tegalog? Any other language? If you can’t, don’t critique. Full stop.

    • @debbiep8260
      @debbiep8260 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      @@drieuxkoeppel8152 Despite having a lot of words derived from Latin, English is NOT considered a Romance language. It is defined as a Germanic language. It has words “borrowed” from the various groups that raided/invaded Britain over the centuries: Romans, Norse/Vikings, Angles, Saxons, Normans/French, probably others I don’t know off the top of my head. All contributed to what we now know as English.
      I’m glad it’s my first/only language. I hate to try to learn it otherwise.

    So. College isn’t for everyone but I guarantee you need some type of training if you ever want to move out of minimum wage jobs. Now, we all know or have been told about someone who made it with having that college sheep skin but those are the exceptions. I deal with people who want jobs and can’t find anything that pays due to no education or years of experience. I recently worked with an older individual who wanted to find a job in another field. I found a 6 month training for that person at a trade school that allowed entry into that new field. That person would never have gotten a job without that training. Good luck.

Whether or not you can make an annullment or need a divorce may differ depending on where you live and / or how long you have been married; I don't know the rules for that...
