Hi I've done all those steps successfully because I've done this before, but this time, when i did it, when i was done with the registration and tried creating the account, on the last step when I clicked done, an error message pops up and says unable to add standard user. And when i try to boot the computer up now, it keeps going to the introduction and not to the login screen. Please help with this, thanks.

My bro's comp. had 3 accounts on it, his included and none of them belonged to me. I wanted on the comp. somehow to just go on the internet, but he is out of town. After watching this video, I not only "got in," I made my newly made account admin of the whole system, and made all other users, including the old admin, standard users :) thanks a TON PwnageTutorials, subed!

fsck is file system check and -y is telling the system to answer yes to all prompts. And it's not necessary to /sbin prior. Your method is correct, but very sloppy and uninformative.
