Thank you for asking! I do work full time for a regional nonprofit. I'm not taking on other grant work at this time, but if you want to find a consultant, be ready to pay $50-$100/hour or more, depending on the scope of the project and their expertise. I can provide a link to a directory of consultants if you'd like. Thanks for watching!
Here is a searchable database from the Grant Professionals Association. Full disclosure, I am a member of the organization, but they do not know I'm posting this, and I'm not paid to promote it. I hope it helps! grantprofessionals.org/search/custom.asp?id=5900
Thank you for your much insightful videos! Any chance you will be covering info of grants for Arts and Culture and how its proposal works? Thank you in advance.
Our non-profit is a technology based org that is working to apply technology to the issues around human-trafficking, and child protection (both physical and making online experience safe for children) as well as working to make sure AI is safe ... we are small, we have three registered locations, Delaware, South Carolina and Florida, but our overall direction is global (we hope) in nature. do you have any suggestions on how to apply for localized community grants to help apply to these issues?
My first three ideas: (1) Contact your local community foundation, which might be holding donor advised funds (the grants I discuss in this video) that might have interest in your work. Links to find community foundations are in the description below the video. (2) Network with tech/child safety professional associations in each state, to meet people working in your space, and who might have connections to funding sources. (3) Would the nearest police or homeland security agencies in each state have human trafficking or internet security programs that you could be part of, or maybe support with funds? I recall years ago learning of a domestic violence shelter that also housed the DV unit of the local police department. Some kind of innovative approach like that would get your npo noticed. All the best for success!
I run a two person ministry . We do not have a 501c3, but have established the ministry under the First Amendment and the IRS 508c1a. Could we still get a grant??? Thank you for your help. Miss Monique 🙂🌷🙏🕊️
Great question! Some local funders are gaining an interest in grassroots organizations like yours, but others are still hesitant. I have a video that spells out some options (with lots of resources linked in the description below the video), th-cam.com/video/a9-N2x_-pFo/w-d-xo.html

Thank you! I have an older video on grants for artists, but I'm going to remake and expand it in 2025.
