Your advice about paying grant writers for their work was music to my ears. I have often been asked to work for free. My answer is always no and then I gently say that in our profession it is, as you have said, unethical. Best to you!

Okay I have a question If I were to start a nonprofit would the IRS or somebody tell me to start working on it automatically or could I get everything situated first beforehand ( equipment/building ect) Would I be able to ease into it and take my time?
Hi, if you want to ease into it, you don't have to incorporate right away. You could work under a fiscal sponsor or complete some small service projects first.

I worked with someone on Fiverr that wrote my proposal but did not give me any portal access or screenshots of 2 applications . She said it would take 14 weeks and these are the two Grant applied. All of a sudden her service became unavailable. I am at such a loss at how to do this for my Nonprofit. What websites are legitimate for grants do you recommend?
