I love seeing the Place of Stones again, in winter this time. I remember the last video it was in, in summer when the woods were green. It's hard to imagine how many changes of seasons those stone circles have been through, unchanged, still standing where they were placed. Very humbling to realize that we will only be here a small fraction of the time they already have been, and hopefully will remain. I hope that place is protected from change and will always be. One day I wish to visit there. Quite a distance from my home in Florida, but worth the journey. I do understand.
Ok, here I think I need to clarify that those stones are not natural occurrences but remnants of previous civilisations from as far back as the Neolithic ages. I don’t know the estimated age on these particular stone settings but Northern Europe and Scandinavia have many of them scattered across the landscape.
I know they are not naturally occurring structures, that's why I said that I hope they will remain where they were "placed". Well done Bjorn 👏
This just made me realise how far we have come and left behind all that peaceful time when life was all about family ruinions, in comfy huts sitting around the fire, not caring about future or past just living in the present and all the focus was just food and basic survival . Life may have been very basic back then but everyone must have loved a happy life, there's no doubt about that.
Beautiful intro!
You are immensely honored Bjorn. As are your ancestors. SKÅL!
Beautiful scene but a deadly one to the uninitiated.
Nah, bro is probably just a mile from a five star resort!
Feh, I've slept in worse.
We all need to get outside and embrace mother earth get grounded❤🌱🌍👍✌🍻
Love that self-bow of yours. I shoot a yew longbow too and was lucky enough to harvest a White-Tailed Deer with it this year. Now living for decades in northern Canada I still reminisce about the past times when I visited the Dovre Fjaell with its Muskoxen, visiting Narvik and also hiking through Sarek National Park near Kiruna.
How far north in Canada? I'm on north shore of lake Superior!
I am between Prince George and Prince Rupert, BC east of the Coastal Mountains @@ianstuart5660
@stefanschug5490 OH my goodness. I've been there. It's so beautiful. Sending all best wishes from Northern Ontario!
Bjorn is every smart woman's ideal of the perfect mate.
You're right!
I wish i could find a guy my age (I'm 31) into this kind of lifestyle. I live north of Washington DC.
Thats a rather small view /he is not a generic one man fits all/you dont sound so smart!
@@gentianvandewerken929 why don't you back to your modern day boys who are more concerned if they got your pronouns correct.
Better sound & visual landscape than any Hollywood film
