Yaa.. Exactly. When you see light, it's associated with fire. A sense of burning. Something destroying.
But darkness. It has no sacrifice. It kills nothing to keep itself alive. Where there is light, there is darkness, where there is no light, there is still darkness. Darkness is always with us. The beautiful darkness. And it wants us to embrace it, not fear it.
Tantra is the original spiritual science first taught in India more than 7000 years ago. Tan is a Sanskrit root which signifies “expansion”, and Tra signifies “liberation.” Thus, Tantra is the practice which elevates human beings in a process in which their minds are expanded. It leads human beings from the imperfect to the perfect, from the crude to the subtle, from bondage to liberation.
Even darkness is visible. Sit in a room, close all windows make the room dark. Open your eyes wide and see the darkness for a long time and instantly get into god consciousness (vijnana bhairava).

The darkness you imagine you are seeing is simply a very low existence of light energy that will beam off of your own prana body. You are light my friend. Pranic body and all.

I think I know what you mean, but he used left and right hand paths, not dark and light. As far as I know, Dark and Light means more to work within Ignorance or within Understanding. When we do things or try to influence other people without their knowing or permission this is Dark, when we work with desires and greeds that we know not the outcome or the need, this is Dark, even if we know the technique clearly. Only when we work toward understood goals, of which there are very few, such as Enlightenment, Freedom, Education and doing this to others with their permission, in the clear light, is it Light Work, or "White" Work. I submit this for your opinion.

I feel like Sadhguru should have maybe explained more of what Tantra Can mean, like how it is derived from "Tan" and "Tra" which (if I have heard correctly) mean "Expansion" and "Liberation", respectively.

I wasn't going to appropriate titles like Yogi or Shaman when I had zero in person experience with tradition- same reason I avoided witch - that awkwardness shows in my original post. I'm just a mystic with a great fondness for plants & plant spirits.

In simple terms for a layman like me what I have known from our grandparents and parents, our mind body nature and universe are interconnected and so are mantra tantra and yantra
Man means mind. Mantra is the use of mind to produce sacred chants with important meanings that gives strength and power.
Tan means body. Tantra is to awaken the hidden powers of our body that in turn give stong capabilities and powers to our mind. Very little is known to common people about tantra. One should go to the 52 shaktipeeth of Indian subcontinent with enough dedication and perseverance to know more about this.
Yaan means vehicle(made ofmechanical instruments) ( If you use a living creature like horse or donkey for transport it is not vehicle, it is vahana). Yantra is mechine. This is the use of machines to harvest the powers of nature.
How one uses mantra, tantra and yantra whether for the good or bad, depends on the user.

@@mayagayam in pure hindi, swatantra means freedom ('swa' means 'one's own'. So swatantra literally means one's own tantra or one's own system, which means freedom). Loktantra in pur hindi means democracy (lok means common people, hence loktantra literally means system of the common people, which means democracy)

I'm burning on my own I don't have enough power within to practice this alone. Yes, reach out to me metaphysically if you can't come. This is intriguing, but I don't know. I have been crying out for a sign in the 3D to prove your love to me. I am not being recognized. I get that this is nonsensical. I am trying to get over obsessions. Honestly, I am a little OCD, but I am not dangerous. This is love from the divine, an answer to all our prayers. We are blessed. We are divine. We are infinite. I am very turned on now.
