How’s it going brother, recently started my fishing journey and really enjoyed your vids so I subscribed. I’m in dfw too, went and fished lewisville lake today but I must have been in the wrong part. Have you ever been that way? And also, what does a little boat like that usually go for? Thank you man!
It's going good brother glad you got into fishing and thanks for the subscribe. I don't fish Lewisville lake much to big of a body of water. I normally fish canals and ponds. The bass buster I got from bassproshop it runs about 500 to 700.00. It's worth it if you wanting to get on the waters at a cost effective price. Trolling motor will cost about 150 to 200.00 and battery will cost at least a 100.00. Once you get that you are set to fish.

Hello mr slab hunter, I notice that you still do bank fishing but you have a boat. I thought if I ever got a boat I'd never do bank fishing again. Or at least my thinking was I'd hit all the spots I could see from the bank that I wish I could fish. So is it a lot more work to get out on a boat? Is that why you still do the bank fishing? I noticed another local in the Ft. Worth area also still does bank fishing though he has a kayak.
Hi Bubblebreeze you hit the hammer on the nail yes it's more work. Think about this I am 52 years old I have to put that boat on the back of my truck, batteries, accessories and gear.. fish all day and afterwards put it back on my truck and put it back in storage. It's easier to go bank fishing. Now if I was making 50,000 a year off youtube for using the boat I would do it on every fish trip but what youtube pays it's not worth it. I just go out fish for my passion as comfortable as possible and call it a day. I share the videos for others to see and enjoy or take some knowledge with them. This is the only reason I do this. Maybe one day in the future I will get a real boat with a trailer and do more boat fishing. Thanks for supporting I appreciate you.

@@AA-dg3ig Drive up on land and drive down to the water. No issues from cops or patrol with driving on land to park and fish. Nylo hotel irving Texas open land across the canal you will see where everyone parks.

It's not just you. That creek has been tough this year. I haven't caught a keeper crappie in my last 2 trips out there.
It's tough as heck for sure but we can't give up.
