- bahan bahan/ ingredients
step 1
1liter air/water
50g dhal merah/ Masoor dhall(red dhall)
50g malawi dhal
50g Bawang dihiris/ sliced onion
1 Cili hijau/ green chili
1/2 serbuk kunyit/ turmeric powder
step 2
3tbsp minyak/ oil
1 Kayu manis/ Cinnamon
2 bunga lawang/ star anise
5 buah pelaga/ cardamom
5 Bunga Cengkih/ clove
2 Bawang dipotong kecil/ finely diced onion
daun kari/ curry leaf
1 Cili hijau/ green chili
2 tomato/ tomatoes
500g daging Kambing bahagian rusuk/ mutton ribs
2tbsp Pes Halia Bawang putih/ ginger garlic paste
2tsp serbuk kunyit/ turmeric powder
1tbsp serbuk cili/ chili powder
1tbsp serbuk kari daging/ meat Curry powder
1/2tsp serbuk jintan putih/ cumin powder
1tsp serbuk ketumbar/ coriander powder
500ml Air panas/ hot water
2 ubi kentang/ potatoes
1btg lobak merah/ carrot
masukkan dhal yang telah masak
air asam jawa( Saya guna asam jawa 1/2 saiz Limau nipis dan larutkan dalam 1/2 Cawan air
tamarind juice( I use half lime size of tamarind pulp, disolve in 1/2 cup of water)
2btg buah kelur/ drumsticks
200g terung / brinjal
daun ketumbar untuk hiasan/ coriander leaves for garnish

Red onion is more sweeter than the white one. Usually white onion is used for making soup
