hi, ive just done this exact same thing on my car and used all the same parts, great minds think alike, i cut my slave braket up and welded a crapy custom one, and on the master to pedal conection i used a m8 extension but i dont like it, can you give me a link to your clevis one thats longer to conect in the drivers clutch pedal, please thanks
The braided hose was a generic cheapo one from Ebay, can't say it's the greatest quality, but wasn't expecting much for under £5 and it does the job. Banjo bolts were HEL ones (M10x1.0 thread) from OHA Motorsport, but available from most places who do motorcycle parts.
You sir, has just saved me money! Good video. I'll be doing this once my zs is finished it's full rebuild.
IT'S BACK!
Honda parts are usually an improvement 👍
The ridiculous thing is... It's based on a Honda. They could have done this in the first place!
Nice upgrade!
Good fix!
Nice work.
Thanks!
Nice work. Do you have the reference for the master cylinder ? Thx

It's from Dark Ice Designs, who also sell complete Sheddist kits.
Hi dave, what length pipe will I need master to slave ? If I send you my bracket do you fancy knocking it up for some beer tokens ?
I think it was about 1m? Generic motorbike brake hose.
Not really after getting into doing another one, though, sorry!
@@InitialDave cheers bud ill get that ordered up, managed to grab mount, civic eg slave and master do the job ?

@@InitialDave thanks mate I will have a look for one
nice
Which honda slave cylinder did you use?
Aftermarket equivalent of 46930-SR3-003, if I'm remembering correctly.
@@InitialDave do you have the reference for the master cylinder ?
@@arnauddelfosse7463 I don't, I'm afraid, but it's the corresponding Honda type that goes with the slave.
they are asking 1799 pounds for a kit, that is the cost of the car itself, too much money
Thats just one listing there's a few up at the mo for around £180 or so. Or just get all the honda parts yourself
What are they item numbers??
Nice fix for a horrible OEM design...
You do wonder what on earth they were thinking when they put that system in there!
