I think this is the first time I've seen foreigners try surströmming the way it's supposed to be eaten. No one in sweden will eat a whole fish straight out of the can the way people do in challenges. Great job!

@@sofieo4851 aw thank you! :) each component of the dish balances well together, I think many foreigners would be pleasantly surprised if they gave it a try 😋

I totally agree. Most of the videos with people trying to eat surströmming is nothing but ridiculous. You should also try to eat it with red onion.

You did very well my lady! ☺️ You should be very proud of your accomplishment and skilled cooking and serving, and handling that can opening and smell. 💪👏You are a very good cook, one can tell, as well as caring and service minded. Your parents must be very proud of you! 😊
Your father is very wise, brave and practical. I liked his wise word to never give up and always try first and not give up at first problem. One can tell he has good values and life experience. Its a honor he eats surströmming with potatoes, sourcream and knäckebröd and he do so well. Good he actually like it. I am not sure you did, you made some face😅 He should be very proud . One can tell the family love and support between you and it was a pleasure and honor see your achievement. Looking forward to more content from you! Say hello to your family from Sweden! 환영받으며 인생에서 기쁨과 행복이 여러분 곁에 있기를 바랍니다! 스웨덴에서 인사드립니다.

and thanks for hyping up my food prep service!! I had a lot of fun, and the taste did take me by surprise but not in a bad way 🤣

Good to hear you liked surströmming 😋
It takes time for the little bud to grow up into a beautiful flower! 😊
You are a lovely person with a deep insight and good values with a fantastic charm and aura! Its a real pleasure watching your films. Your presence in the room including all with warmth and joy is remarkable!
Looking forward for you to taste more Swedish food and maybe your family would like to taste as well!
And also if you have the time and interest please more of You, your family and culture of Korea! ❤🎉

Your dad is so nice to you. Such a nice Korean dad. He is so supportive of you so he tried that fish. LOL. I felt that he is very cautious with you maybe because you are the youngest daughter? anyways, hopefully you keep posting TH-cam videos and reach 100k sub. ❤❤

Aahh...I was just wrote a comment on your vid from 4 month ago about eating "surströmming". How nice of you to give it another try and the right way to eat it. I guessed that you would like it and you and your charming dad did! I guess you also would like my favourite food; blood dumplings with fried pork belly - "kamsen" or "maeliklubbe" in the sami language - a sturdy meal after a hard days work. I am a country girl from the north of Sweden and my husband hunts so we eat a lot of moose meat and fish in the river. Smoked river bass (with butter and some spring onion) on thin barley bread and cold beer in the glass is heaven on a hot summer day! I grow a lot of veggies and foraging berries and mushrooms + wild greenery (stinging nettles is so tasty). Yes, I love food and cooking/baking... 😄

As a Swede who actually likes surströmming I'm impressed of your both! And as first time eaters of this i would say it's the right way to eat it like this even though many surströmming connoisseurs might disagree :P Some people use flat breat instead of hard bread, my mother eats it only with the potatoes etc.
But if I'm not mistaken, people in Korea already eat fermented fish?
Edit: There's a reason why we don't see Korean people eating surströmming and doing reaction videos because you can handle it.

Impressed of your father..The elderberry drink you got from ikea should be mixed..1 part drinkmix 5-6 parts water..you actually drank concentrate..Knæckebrød we swedish mostly eat with a bit spread of butter..Cheese and ham..And also a swedish special called kalles kaviar..smoked and salted fisheggs together with boiled eggs and shrimps and mayonaiise ,almost as salt as the liquorice you tasted..As swedish i dream of going to korea, and test fermented skate..Kimchi,Japchae,Tteobokki,Bibimbap,Bulgogi and everything...

    Hello there 😊
I was just thinking, it is very nice see you visit and try out Swedish culture but I must admit I am curious about Korea culture as well. Living in Sweden you dont come to often in contact with people from Korea. Would you be interested to make some movies about Korean life? About family life, relations and marriage, school, work, religion, culture, art&music, food and sports! So many interesting topics and also about yourself and your daily life, you have told us some and also let us meet your lovely family but I am curious to know more about you!
Family, living, studies, travels, hobbies, relationship, friends, nature, animals, sports, food 😊 its a broad subject but you could pick what you like and interest you the must. What you say?
Have a lovely day to you and your family!
