Looks a loverly day. I was considering doing a audax. I was considering some 32c continental gp5000 or maybe 28c would be good? I was thinking the wider tyre would help with long distance comfort. Any thought from an experienced audax cyclist ?
Interestingly I am thinking of increasing my rear to a 28c. Its a Continental GP Force 25c. Yes the thicker tyres do add comfort, but you don't need to go mad! Most Audax are not off road , or Gravel routes where you might need a really thick tyre. My 25c is fine, but I'm hoping the 28c will be just a bit more compliant.
