That's just what happens when the adults don't tell you what a period is same thing happened to me but I was nine and I didn't have a mother to tell me what a period was so my sister had to do everything even then I didn't know everything about it I didn't find out a bunch of stuff until after I became a teenager
Yea people think it shouldn't be free in the U.S because "well it costs money to make" well y'all decided women have to plug it 🙃 and not every woman can afford the luxury to plug it unfortunately. I hate the U.S
Dude the first time I got my period I was in the sixth grade (my elementary school extended up till sixth) and I was like legit panicking and I knew there was a pad and tampon dispenser in the bathroom so I went to go get one and no joke, they were charging 25 cents for a PAD in an ELEMENTARY school so I had to use toilet paper the whole day. I get period products may be a bit expensive to supply but expecting literal preteens to carry quarters for period products (also pretty sure the machines were not supplied most of the time) is like a different level of messed up to me!
i miss living in Austria for one thing and one thing only, there was a pack of pads (i think maybe 12 pieces) for half an euro.... its not much more expensive where i live tbh but man i loved those pads
Girl go to the dollar store and get u those lil skinny pads.... sometimes i even find unopened packs at goodwill...i understand this only work for light flow tho
is this really how expensive period products are in america?
yup
@@annabella_jean jesus christ pink tax to the extreme.
Yes
Depends on store and brand, ans how many are in each. For me it's 7$ at Mt usual store for 48 Tampax w 3 sizes
@@Havis_Princess jesus. and we complain in the uk
People need to bring more awareness to this. Almost every woman gets her period and most can't afford to pay for period care.
Most?
Anything that's necessary for daily life should be under $5 that way pretty much everybody can afford it
Yeah I get the tiniest 8 pack of tampons for $4.99 like wtf
Pads are 1.50 dollars max in my country.....
What country?
@@paehlovesyou3694fr where is this magical country

This is mental. In the UK you’re getting like 50 tampax Pearl for £10, 20 pads for £3 and 50 generic panty liners for £1
My sister and me were going to the store when I got my period and they were 24 bucks
😂😂😭fr there so expensive
Oh shit
This is so true😂
They’re free in Scotland 🏴.

I know I spent $45 on 3 boxes of tampons not the big ones I might at and 2 boxes of pads it was ridiculous
3 boxes of these big ones like the video. That is like enough for the rest of the year...

This is why I “always” carry a pad 😂
A pack of 10 pads here is 70cents
This is one of the reasons I switched to a cup... So I don't have to spend so much money monthly.
I have heavy periods so buying maxi pads AND liners is always $30+
In my country, it's about $2± maybe even less
in Greece the most expensive is 5 €
Fr!! Like guys I'm bleeding out here. Health problem! And it's not like $5? Wtf

Or about how cheap you are. We get it. You don’t like to spend your money. THEN DONT!
Where I live you can get a pack of pads (always) for $6,57
I'm so happy I don't live in the US anymore 😂
