Apparently jpg will auto put the background in. But after which i noticed the quality is extremely low when i try to upload on redbubble even i have set 300 dpi on gimp.

    Hey! Thanks for the video.
    What about the size? After downloading from the free version of Canva, it's very small. I have heard someone mention a website called bulkresizephotos, but I feel like enlargening a small design from Canva (even if it's mainly text) compromises the quality significantly. Do you agree? So, what do you recommend for getting the design back to the large size we want for uploading to our POD site(s)? Was there a part where you briefly mentioned something about that and I missed it? Thanks! :)

    • @shimmymorris1
      @shimmymorris1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m not sure about increasing the size but you can give it a go and then zoom in to see if quality stays. Could you create a bigger canvas on canva and make the entire design bigger so that when you download it’s larger

    • @ArunaHeather
      @ArunaHeather 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Amber N, ...did you ever figure this out. Canva only exports in 95 dpi and POD needs 300 dpi. If you have a Mac, you can use: Tools > Adjust Size > Change the resolution. But I don't think that's the way to get the best quality. I have also see people exporting from Canva in PDF because that exports at 300 dpi, then convert the file to JPEG or PNG... but that's a whole lotta steps. I'm looking for the most efficient solution and wondering if you've worked this out.

      I’ve heard very conflicting videos on this and also would love some clarification. From what I understand you can use the pro fonts, elements and images as long as you create a unique design out of them. So you can’t just take an image and use it for POD as is without adding different elements to make a unique design. Having said that, I think I’m going to reach out to Canva for their input.
