Mustang wouldn't start because the car didn't detect that the clutch was depressed. the pad on the clutch pedal assembly was broken just needed to be replaced.
@Exocartonic had this happen to my brake pedal too. Went to ford dealer to get some pads just to find out they don't sell any and in order to get some, I'd have to buy a whole new assembly which was $500.... I got double sided tape and a steel washer, problem solved 😂. Been working like that for 20k miles 😅.
Also want may want to check if your clutch pedal is sitting to much to the left and if it will move side to side. I just took my whole assembly and fixed the clutch because the main weld that hold it in is shitty and breaks easily. Yours looks like its crooked like mine did. Hopefully not because its a bitch to get in and out Thanks for the link on the pads
@@jaidentappendorf5406 I took the assembly apart(which is a pain in the ass) welded it back in place and reinstalled. The rubber boots are now under recall so they are free to replace. I did it by myself. Took seat out. Need ratchet straps to pull brake cylinder towards from of engine bay. Need the correct tools. Lots and lots of patience. You will be upside down in your floorboard cussing most of the time.
Mine wouldn't start, didn't see the clutch, I have to push the switch and the pedal with my left hand and push the start button, it has a weird like pop in the travel seems to make contact with the switch, but not enough to activate, drives fine. I feel like it is crooked now that you mention that, oh man. This is gona suck 😢
@@lucianodouville9544 yeah mine was a pain to disassemble. I probably should have taken it to the dealer and had them fix it since I have an extended warranty but I did it myself.

Had the same problem & just fixed it thanks to your video. Really appreciate you making this!
Glad it helped!
Has anyone else’s weld broke and now car is going into limp mode? Maybe it’s thinking the brakes are constantly being pushed or even the clutch?
good job!
Nice very informal
If I could give you more 👍🏾I would, thanks, mine is starting to fail 🤬
