Fantastic, frankly this was the only good tutorial I have seen on TH-cam. Not only was it comprehensive, but you spoke slowly enough that I got everything you said. You also pointed at buttons, icons, and menus slowly enough that I caught them. I thought that perhaps I was kind of slow in the head and that was why I couldn't keep up. But after reading the comments on the other videos I see that wasn't the only one who was having trouble. Thank you very much for a great video. I will be watching the rest of this series.

I'm getting on a bit... (64) and so being a newby to 3d printing- I was totally baffled by Fusion 360-then someone suggedted Tinkercad- again totally bemused, bewildered and on the verge of selling the 3d printer, when I came across this video!!! WOW now it is beginning to make sense- I am actually understanding it thanks to your superb way of explaining this programme. thank you so very much- you've saved an old timers sanity.

when i do the 25mm block and the 25mm gap to stack the box there is a very very thin gap still between the 2 boxes..
When I did a test print , even though I joined the 2 boxes , the print was weak as if it printed 2 separate boxes .
So I made the gap 24.5 and made the top box taller.. hope that made sense.
In my experience, so long as they are flush with one another and touching, it should print it as one piece. How much it overlaps doesn't matter. Have you grouped the items?
Would it be possible to do a video on importing svg files to create 3d printed lightboxes??
Question...can Tinkercad export models to video editors like Final Cut Pro or iMovie?
Tinkercad allows you to export in .STL and .OBJ files. If those platforms allow you to import those files then yes.
Has anyone noticed something with tinkercad, lately?
So you open a project, and it opens in the last view that you had, but you make changes to it, save it, but when opened next time, it doesn't open in the view it was saved in, but rather, a view from below the work plane and very zoomed in?
Even if you now change the view to what you like (or home view), save it again and go back, it still opens up from bottom zoomed in?
I've noticed that on 2 projects. Older projects from a week ago load normally (last view I had).
The only fix was to highlight everything in the project, delete it, make a new project, paste objects, name it, save it THEN it would load in the last view you had it in.
Anyone notice that (even though that was difficult to type as I have not had my 1st cup of coffee yet!?

I have not noticed that, but will try to see if I can replicate your issue and resolve it.
@@PromoAmbitions My workaround is to just copy all the objects in a project, delete the project and recreate it, pasting the objects.
This just works.
Perhaps this is a one-off as I've never seen this before.
