Not very fast, about 60kmh and 20km of range, but it was enough when you consider how minimal this set up was. It had only 3kwh of battery and 5kw of power. I had to replace a clutch plate so I was like since I removed the engine let's have some fun and try going electric, I had some batteries from my e bikes and electric motor that I found in the recycling center. I put all that in and it was not as fast as driving with original engine but it was cool to drive silently in classic car. Now I have factory made Renault EV and Dyane is back to its original state, because here where I live its not allowed to modify your car so I had to return it back to original.
@@ACAGT I see... Its not allowed to do such things where I live either. Anyways it sure is an interesting project. I don't like modern cars as I work with them all day long, electric ones even less as I'm a classic car lover but must admit that sometimes in our small european classic cars this kind of conversions might be interesting to use this cars in our cities. But well, as you say... We're not allowed to do so. If you want an electric car you have to go and spend your money.
@@riejurv50 But I it could be done with awd car. Just remove the drive shaft and in its place bolt on a electric motor directly to a rear diff and leave everything in front stock. You would technically get a hybrid that way and have a front wheel drive from engine and rear wheel drive from electric motor. Than I think it would not be a problem to remove that electric motor and put back the drive shaft when going on inspection for registration.
Yes it is, this was done for fun and research purposes. I wanted to see if I can power a car with e bike and rc components. She is back to original now

Ovo je kostalo nekih 1000€ ali realno bez 4000€ ne mozes napraviti nesto upotrebljivo
