Most of it boiled down to not having a good plan. If you need someone to help you make a plan for your flower garden this year, we've got you covered:

I love your channel for it's honesty and "grace giving"! Real truths about gardening dreams vs real life and practical tips on how to be able to enjoy the journey as well. May we all find our own "golden hours" in our gardens. Great topic and such a timely video. Thank you!

Thank you for being honest about flower farming reality! Going into my second year and it’s a beautiful view most days, but physically & mentally tough to make it successful!

Very realistic video and definitely one I needed to hear as I start this side hustle. I grew up in the garden and enjoy golden hour gardening. The thought of going home and being among the flowers is enough to get me thro a hard day. 😌 This is my first year selling. I’m starting small, not only because I don’t want to get overwhelmed, but also because I don’t know my customers likes yet.

Sounds wise, and we hope you have a successful year! Success if measured in more than just money, and honestly, sometimes the peace the garden brings is worth as much as the money it can make.

I grew up with “do more” and “do better.” The problem is that “more” and “better” are not quantifiable and therefore are unachievable. I’m trying to sit back and enjoy at least sometimes.

Thank you for sharing! Do you leave your pathway weed barrier fabric in place and only till the bed itself
at the end of the year?
Part of me thinks to rotate the beds, i.e. next year grow the bed in the pathway ?? section?
