As a 72 year old woman who has been exposed to mistreatment by similar ugly spirited-bullying men, I applaud Stormy's courage in that courtroom. I have so much respect for her as a person. Can't say that about Trump or his band of lawyers. Their shame is in representing him.
I'm 74 and I was young and pretty once. I've been in similar awkward positions where you do blame yourself. I can relate to Stormy. Some men are total creeps. It's about time someone famous, powerful and rich is being held accountable.
And so arrogant that he got away with it many times.
As a 71 year old retired Public Defender, I can't look back at a single down-and-outer or certified nasty I ever represented that Trump isn't a worse client or human. I was in stinky jail interview rooms with murderers and rapists, and Trump creeps me out more.

With respect, I don't think many of them are hearing the half of what we've learned. If you watch their news sources, they still play to the fiction that the election was "stolen" in 2020. We can blame the media for their inane "reporting" most of the time and for "bias" but the fault lies in our citizenry simply not wanting to be informed. How many of us have read the indictments, motions and etc? For me personally, I can't stop reading these things because being alive at this time, with my great love of country, I consider it my duty to those guys who froze their toes off at Valley Forge. We owe a duty of citizenship and I don't think many of us are willing to discharge even the minimal duties. Most of us don't even bother to vote for crying out loud. We need folks to actually open their eyes and ears as a bare minimum of engagement. However, it's just so much easier to close your eyes put your fingers in your ears and just sing "la la la" loudly....or open up the phone and let that distract us. Everything we are going through is a creation of our own making. We are the only ones that can reverse course and save our experiment from ourselves. Thanks for the comment!

It is NOT about the settlement, or the NDA, and no, Stormy did not falsify the documents. He is charged with First-degree falsifying business records (34 counts). It stems from an effort to keep his behavior a secret from the voting public, after the Access Hollywood tape was made public, and before the election. Those actions are similar in nature to his historical fradulant behaviors that have already caused the trump family to lose their ability to conduct businesses and foundations in N.Y., or to even be on the board of directors of any business or foundation. Additionally, they will need to pay tens of millions of dollars in fines and reimbursements to customers that have been cheated...think Trump University among others. What he is being charged with now is just more of the same for him, but with consequences that are commensurate with attempting to commit fraud on the voting public. So, now you will never again have to ask such a dimwitted question.

If Trump wants to dispute Daniel's testimony, he must take the stand and testify under oath. The fact that he won't testify and has groveled about wanting the gag order removed in order to say whatever he wants, without risk of commiting perjury, is even more telling that what Daniels said under oath is accurate. Any person defending this poor excuse of a human being needs to check their own moral character.
Also, if he was signing personal business checks while President, he clearly was not performing his duties as President. He had to approve all personal business checks over a certain amount. He used the office of President like a poker chip to raise the ante for personal gain and never divested the workings of the business to the kids. They had to run to Daddy dearest for every decision.
