Hey Rey! love the idea for the technique card because I know us students have a difficult time figuring out technique in clinicals. I do my rotation at UCSF and always wonder what technique to use on portables. I have one year left and want to look sharp during my internship. Thanks for making these videos.
@@victorgonzalez2927 greetings from over the bridge! Every portable and facility is different. But our ball park technique is 90@4 NO grid. If they are thicker we use 110@8 with grid.
I'm in Michigan thanks for this vid I'm applying again soon hoping your vids and other things I've been studying help me prep also hope I get into the program.
Aye Rey at 25 I’m really looking at a career change and your videos introduced me into radiology. I’m going to preorder just to support you & your channel!
Love the technique chart! I've been a tech for a few years now and I remember as a student having an address book with techniques written in there. A card on my badge would have been so handy! I'm in Washington State.
I'm from the east cost and I'm in the first semester of my radiography program. I absolutely LOVE taking x rays and learning about patient care! :) I have been watching your videos for almost a year, now, since it was this time last year that I was beginning my prerequisites and actually applying for the entrance exam for this program! As the days and months were climbing up to take the HESI entrance exam I watched your videos to keep me inspired, and I guess it worked 😁!! Thank you for your content! 🤯 this is how I felt when I heard about the technique cards
Thank you for this card I use it when I am in the hospital now especially when I am at main and when I am in the O.R it is very useful. I don't have to carry my small notepad I have written my techniques in, this fits in my scrub pocket well too. I will be graduating in 1 month!
What’s up Ray! Your videos really helped me figure out what I wanted to do, being that we have the same values and personality. Been watching your videos for a min and Im 19 now decided to go back to school and get my AA in rad tech. A lil nervous but I’m glad I found this community
So like how do I buy this card badge!?!!! Also I’m KILLING it in radiography school - they nominated me for class representative too! All thanks to your tips! Thank you!
Please email me at xrayreyc@gmail.com - Thank you so much for sharing! Love to hear that 🙌🏽 You’re very welcome. But the credit is all yours tho. You’re the one putting in the work! I’m just talking LOL So happy for you tho! Ride this momentum and I’ll see you at the top ✊🏽
Im in Maryland finishing up 3rd semester of rad tech school. That technique chart can come in handy for me. Thanks for making it. Im crawling to the finish line 🤯🥴 but I am going to make it. I emailed you for preorder. Thanks Rey🙌🏽
LOVE THIS! Wrapping up my first semester in the program and starting clinicals in January! We're doing a secret santa in class and this would an epic gift for myself AND my gift receiver! where's your email, if preorders are still available??
perfect timing I would say! That's awesome, thanks for sharing. Just got word that they're being shipped today to me 🥳 xrayreyc@gmail.com I have 100 or so left
I’d love to get that badge with the manual technique baselines on it, but I don’t see it on the website you provided for your merchandise. Will you have more available soon?
Hello sir Rey., my name is Jennielyn i came accross your video ., ( though) i’ve been looking and searching for any information with regards to Diagnostic Imaging ( -Radiologic Technology )., I graduated Bachelor of Science In Radiologic Technology in the Philippines ., and like what i’ve said the network or people who works in Radiology Dept is so few specially here in Calgary Canada. The resources or information is so limited., Your’e videos inspires me alot., it was a challenge for me to be confident and to pursue the program since i was told that i will be studying all over again.,, It is a very competitive 2 year program., I applied assessment thru IQAS and from that I have 2 courses to upgrade prior to admission at SAIT here in calgary... ( The One and only Technical School that offers Medical Diagnostic Imaging ...😅😅) But as i watched your videos i got inspired and convice to give it a try., I Love the Job and i miss it bigtime...., Continue to be our inspiration!!! Beam ON!!!
Hi Raquel! I'm from Houston too and will start taking my prereqs this spring. Which school do you go to? How long was the waiting time to get into the program? I'm 34 and this will be my first going to school here in the US so it's kinda scary and I can't fully understand the process yet. I had my degree in the Philippines more than 10 yrs ago.🙈
so for STN, you would use a technique for a normal c-spine (80@8 for AP)but then lower the kVp so you don't burn out the soft tissue. So 60-70@8 would be a good ball park.
Bro if what you say is true about wanting to help people learn, become an instructor. This will make you not look like you just want to sell stuff or content.
I get where you’re coming from. But I’m making a business off of my career. Most people see nothing wrong with making a living from doing what they love. I’m being who I needed when I was a student. You can’t do what I’m doing as an instructor. You can’t have the freedom to say what I say. Make these cards. Give valuable consultations. Make merchandise. I have 8k+ students aka subs in 2 years. You can’t do that as an instructor. I’m genuinely having fun and love what I do. Hope that makes sense.

Hi Rey, do you ship to Canada? Thanks
Yes I do!
Was just looking over those techniques, and I noticed soft tissue neck isn’t on there. What would recommend for the AP and Lat?
