I leave for my first trip to Morocco in one week and I've saved your videos to watch right before I go because I knew they would be awesome. And I was right. :)
Hi Matt, loving your videos which I’ve just discovered thank you! I’m keen to know what dates you were in Morocco please, as I am going there in late December this year, so I can hopefully avoid the heat! Cheers from Australia.
@@MattKramerTravels oh okay, good to know thanks. Btw, did you find any issues with insect bites, as I believe they can be a hassle in summer? Cheers from Australia
How did you manage to get around those tiny alleys without getting lost? I heard that Google maps wouldn't be of any help either. You would have to splurge to spend $10 bucks a day.
I got lost many times Dennis! Eventually I started to recognize some places I had seen before, which helped me get around a little, but I think getting lost is inevitable (and a fun way to explore the Medina)!
Matt, my husband and two friends are planning to travel to Morocco next year in 2023. Is September or October good months for traveling there? We don't want to go when the weather is too hot. What is the Covid situation like? Do you have any tour agencies to recommend? We would like to visit Fes, Marrakech, Essaouir, Chezchaoen and some other areas. How many days do you recommend?
Hi Debbie! I think September and October should be good months weather wise! I was in Morocco a bit ago so I think the covid situation has likely changed. When I was there, there weren't many restrictions in place that were being enforced, I'm not sure about actual Covid cases. I personally didn't use a tour agency, so I don't have a recommendation for you, unfortunately. I think all those places sounds great! Depending on how much time you have, perhaps 2 days in Fes, 2-3 in Marrakech, 2 in Essaouir and 2 in Chefchaouen. Enjoy your trip!

Hi Matt. Another nice walk through the Medina you could get lost 😞 walking 🚶♀️ through there. And very cheap price for the drinks and food you had. Till the next adventure stay safe Matt. 🇺🇸🏴❤️
