    Too good class as usual ❤but with single rope back bending needs strength it's very tuff😢

      Rekha, one day at a time will build strength, confidence and courage. Courage to go beyond your usual and step into the unknown. Of course always with the correct body awareness and intelligent actions. 👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻♥️

      Hi Sanjay,
      Please check the Google site for rope installation. You will have a better idea how to customize according to your height, ceiling height, body width. Have a read then if all appropriate for you, just use the general guidelines outlined.
      Check this site:
      Measurements. Horizontally, each set of ropes is 18" apart and is separated from the next set of ropes by 25". All horizontal measurements are "on center." Vertically, the bar for the high ropes is 82" from the floor. The bar for the ropes below them is 40" from the floor.

    Hello, Ms. Cook. I am trying to develop some independence in yoga practicing. I considere myself a beginner, although I"ve been practicing for a year and a half, already. I intend, years from now, to share the knowledge I've acquired with others. Do you think your videos will help me getting so?

    • @marcimixpl
      @marcimixpl 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is good book from Iyengar. The Path to Holistic Health. A lot of sequencing, great for start.

      Hi Jussara, thanks for your note. We must always practice with a beginner's mind. This was always my intention, to teach as I was older to share what I could. For me it’s been very inspiring.
      Yes, I think the videos will help. Each day we spend learning and practicing, adds to our body knowledge about ourselves and others. I recommend the Foundation Course as it’s filled with lots of great info which you can practice with over and over. Our learning is like peeling an onion, always another layer and each aha moment is seen from new eyes. Namaste ❤️

    Can I still do this without the ropes?

    • @DesaYogiIyengarYoga
      @DesaYogiIyengarYoga  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes certainly, Use a chair, wall or on the mat. Look at the shape and find a way to do without support or as you require. Enjoy!
