TY for this video providing advice and strategies. I assume these same tips apply for a podcast interview. My question has to do with the viuce variety you mentioned. I'm told that my voice can be very unexpected (i.e., too sexy) for the kind of work in which I'm involved. How can I make this an advantage and not a distraction? I've got to really think about this. I don't want to spoil this opportunity to represent my city and the hard work being done by hundreds of good peopke. Can you please advise me? Thanks so much! 🤔
Yes! 🙌 use your voice exactly as is, but shift it to a professional sound. The shift comes in your head not in your voice. But the result will be in the final voiceover.
So become what you need to become acting wise or type wise in order to do your voiceover, and although your voice may be husky in nature, it will come off really well. Also, tempo makes a big deal. Sexy is very slow, but corporate or professional has a more upbeat clipped pace.
